Finncon will have some programme items that require signing up beforehand. These include the Kapteeni Kuolio walk on Friday 7th of July at 1 PM (Finnish only) and the Masquerade on Saturday 8th of July.
In addition to this, there will be a workshop by Finncon’s Academic Guest of Honour Marek Oziewicz before the official start of Finncon. The workshop is aimed especially for teachers, academics, and other educators who work with young people and is called Education for the Planet: Building Universal Climate Literacy with Children’s Literature and Media.
