Finncon doesn\u2019t have a specific convention hotel nor, unfortunately, special convention rates. The following is a list of hotels close to (max. 500m) the convention site. Contact the hotels directly for room bookings (they all serve\n their customers in English as well). Please note that Tampere is very busy during the summer and there are several large events being held in the city each weekend of July, so the hotels fill up quickly!<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

One of the newest hotels in Tampere, literally across the street from the consite. Not the cheapest option, but definitely the closest!<\/p>\n

Another relatively new hotel in Tampere. One of the highest buildings in Tampere with spectacular views over the city, if you\u2019re lucky with your room! (The locals call this the Dark Tower, for a reason\u2026)<\/p>\n

Scandic Hotel Station & Scandic Hotel City<\/strong>\n
Ratapihankatu 37 (Scandic Hotel Station) and H\u00e4meenkatu 1 (Scandic Hotel City)<\/em><\/p>\n

Both hotels are located close to the convention site, Scandic Hotel Station is slightly closer as it is on the same side of the railway tracks. Scandic Hotel City is located opposite the railway station and at the end of\n Tampere\u2019s Main street, H\u00e4meenkatu.<\/p>\n

This is again one of the closest hotels to the convention site. Yliopistonkatu ends at the convention site (the name of the road can be translated \u201cUniversity road\u201d), so getting to and from the hotel is very easy!\n
